How to Increase PayID Limit

To get more out of PayID, you’ll need to contact whoever’s in charge: your bank or service provider who first got you on it. They each do their own thing, so the steps will be different depending on who they are, but the general idea is this:

  • Log into your online banking or account.
  • Head to your PayID settings or management page.
  • Look for something about transaction limits or PayID limits
  • If you see something like that, go ahead and select anything along the lines of “increase,” and keep going until you’ve finished.

If there’s no option on your account to increase how far you can take PayID:

  • Chat up the people at customer support, either through email, chat box or phone call.
  • Tell them what’s up and ask for help to lift those boundaries higher.
  • Give them any information they ask for — names, numbers, IDs — so they know it’s really you and not some scammer trying to sneak in through the back door.
  • The rep will walk you through whatever process they have planned. You might need to fill out a form or send in even more proof that this is all legit.

Just remember that whether you can expand within PayID and by how much is based on factors like the type of account you have, where transactions usually stop at and policies put in place by your financial institution or payment service provider. There’s always a chance that if a limit’s there, it ain’t moving.

Now on the Example of the Bank Commbank

NetBank:

  • Sign in to your NetBank account and access “Settings”.
  • Tap on “Payment limits” to view what your current payment settings are.
  • Change them to fit your needs.

If registered, obtain and input a NetCode. This will save your new limit as well as confirm the changes that have been made.

CommBank App:

  • Open up the CommBank app on whichever device you’re using.
  • Click on the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen.
  • Go into “View profile & settings,” then sign in and select “Payment limits.”
  • Make whatever changes you need to make.
  • Once you’ve gone through these steps, your updated limits will be good to go. You’ll also receive a message confirming that everything was successful in your NetBank inbox.

It’s important to keep in mind that increasing your daily limits may up how much money you’d be liable for if someone did an unauthorized transaction. These are the maximum limits you can set:

  • $20,000 for unlinked accounts
  • $100,000 for BPAY payments
  • $5,000 for international money transfers

Follow these steps and guidelines so that it’s easy peasy lemon squeezy to adjust and modify whatever daily payment limits you’re trying to get at.
